Lantas Cafe

Lantas Cafe is a must-visit for coffee lovers. The coffee here is truly fantastic, with a variety of options to choose from. We tried the drip coffee, hazelnut coffee, and coconut coffee and were impressed by the quality of each. The presentation of the coffee was also great, adding to the overall experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. Additionally, the cafe is home to some lovely cats, adding to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The sea view is an added bonus, making for a peaceful and scenic setting to enjoy your coffee.

If you find yourself wandering through Lanta Old Town, don’t miss out on Lantas Café—a cozy little spot that serves excellent coffee and some seriously good bagels. I ordered a hot latte, and it was spot on. Smooth, creamy, with just the right balance of espresso and milk—no bitterness, just a warm, comforting cup. For something more special, I also tried their drip coffee, and it was a pleasant surprise. It had a clean, rich flavor, highlighting the quality of the beans. You can tell they take their coffee seriously here. To pair with the coffee, I went for their cream cheese bagel. Simple but done right. The bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly on the outside but still soft and chewy on the inside, and generously spread with cream cheese. It’s a great light bite that works beautifully with a good cup of coffee. The café itself is charming. It’s small but has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with its rustic wooden decor and quiet vibe. It fits perfectly with the relaxed pace of Lanta Old Town, making it a great place to sit back, sip coffee, and watch the world go by. The staff were lovely—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, whether you’re starting your day or taking a midday break. If you’re a coffee lover or just craving a simple yet satisfying snack, Lantas Café is worth stopping by. It’s a little gem that perfectly matches the charm of Lanta Old Town.

This is an ideal spot to have breakfast lunch or dinner. It is located right in the centre of the old town Koh Lanta. I would highly recommend you eat here. They have an extensive and varied choice on the menu for both dinner and breakfast. They also have nice cakes. I would recommend you eat here.

Excellent little cafe. On the day we were there it was full of tourists at 10am beefing into breakfast. We managed to get a seat and had a lovely cappuccino and a brownie to die for and well presented. All in all a love little place.

Google map says this is temporarily closed - it’s not! As of April 23rd 2024 - it’s open! Had great coffee here - large and really tasty Americano; had a delicious Mango smoothie- really thick and gorgeous and a very well cooked breakfast, with proper toast and fluffy scrambled eggs. Staff are really friendly and give you a warm greeting everytime. The deck overlooks the sea, they have great WiFi, so it’s generally a fabulous spot to chill out and enjoy the breeze and views. We went back several times, it is very good. There’s other westerner dishes available and a good range of Thai dishes too - the Massaman curry was excellent.

My mom and I stayed on Koh Lanta for a week and we went to Lantas Cafe every single day at least once (sometimes we went even twice)! The food is simply delicious (thai as well as western), everything is soooo fresh, the view is STUNNING and the people are incredibly sweet and attentive! We loved it here so much.. this place is definitly the best thing about Koh Lanta!!

The mackerel was so delicious! Beautiful views and friendly staff. Would definitely come back.

Their drinks are of a different level! We had coffee (black (Italian moka!) and with milk and they both tasted amazing!), mango smoothie which finally had the right percentage of mango over ice, and a delicious fresh coconut. Food is good too. The view and the location itself are astonishing. Stuff is absolutely wonderful, and always greet you with a sincere smile. Definitely worth a visit :)
